Greg & Kris, I would just like to thank you both(also Josh & Cameron) from the bottom of my heart for Maximus.

From the first time I met you both, I could sense your love and commitment for this majestic breed; you listened to my every inquiry and concern, and made it extremely comfortable in light of the sudden, untimely loss of my GSD, Gunner. The decision to add to my family again was made easier through your efforts; needless to say, you made it very exciting! I truly felt part of your family during the whole term and birth of the puppies...and as I once mentioned to you, I felt like a kid again at Christmas when they were born. What a joy and blessing seeing the process of them growing, through your continual updates of pictures and e-mails.....priceless!

The day I will remember the most, was the first day I saw the litter "live" for the first time and having to make, I thought, the difficult decision to pick my next "buddy". Your input and concerns for my needs were greatly appreciated, which made the pick a no brain-er. He was Maximus!

From the first day Max came home, to the present, he has been an awesome addition to the family. His outstanding disposition towards life and his surroundings are a credit to his early socialization and superior breeding...aside from being my friend and "life" companion, he is a winner, and for that, I thank you...

He is truly loved and gives back double..."for the sun does not come from the sky, it shines from the love in my dogs eyes".

The Best, Always- Jim & Jo Principe and Maximus

Dear Greg,

You took the time over the last year to help me find the right dog, so I should take the time to write you a e-mail as a satisfied customer.  Though this e-mail may be a little long I feel it's appropriate to explain why I am satisfied.

I grew up on a small farm where a dog was not a pet but one more tool on the farm to aid in protection of livestock.  My idea of a dog is one that has a purpose.  In 1995 we purchased our first German Shepherd puppy.  I had been in law enforcement for five years and had come to respect the German Shepherd, they are very much a dog with purpose.  We bought our puppy from a reputable breeder who was into more working lines than show lines.  Our puppy immediately showed some flaws in temperament and self confidence.  A friend was a Schutzhund trainer so we starting working with our puppy in attempt to correct some of the flaws.  We learned much about the pros and cons of buying a puppy and could see the advantages of buying a imported dog that was already a year old (green dog).  Our puppy overcame some of the flaws with hard work and she served us faithfully for 12 years.  Two years ago she died and I immediately started searching for a imported dog that would be at least one year old so we could see what the temperament and drives were going to be like.  I spoke to several importers and breeders and finally took one imported male on a trial basis.  That male did not work out so I tried an imported female on a trial basis and she did not work out.  I had spent over a year looking for a dog and was still without one.  I started searching the internet once again and sorted through the scams and over priced dogs.  I came across your web site and decided to give you a call.  Our first conversation was three hours long and you told me you did not have a dog for me but would I consider a puppy.  At this point I was at my wits end and said yes.  You said you did not have a puppy that would work for me but you had several litters coming the next few months.  After every litter you would call me and say the dog you want is not here but we will keep looking.  After almost a year you called me a few weeks ago and said I have one in this litter and he is exactly what you want.

For those of you that read this and are thinking about a German Shepherd puppy I can tell you that Greg does listen.  Unlike most breeders who want to sell you their product, Greg wants to find a good home for his dogs.  The old saying you get what you pay for is true, Greg prices are fair and reasonable.  I spent a year looking for a dog, talking to breeders, visiting kennels and realizing most breeders are out to sell their product.  I saw first hand how breeders would have their children pose with their puppies in order to sell their product when in reality the children could care less about the puppies.  When you visit Greg's kennel you will see children who are very attached to the puppies.  I can tell you that I have small children and a well socialized puppy was a major concern.

A German Shepherd dog is not a ordinary dog.  Depending on what you want from the dog you will need to rely on the breeder to help you find the right puppy for your needs.  I wanted a high drive dog that I could work in Schutzhund but not too high drive that the dog would not be good around my small children.  A good breeder who spends time with the puppies will be able to pick out the right puppy for your needs.  I waited a year for my puppy from Greg but it was well worth the wait.

It has been two years since my dog died and even to this day it pains me to think of her but this new puppy has made some of that pain go away.  If you are looking for a breeder who cares and listens to your needs then you found the right one.  If you are looking for a breeder who runs a family operation were the wife and kids also help with the kennel then you have found the right one.  If you have any questions about Greg and his breeding program feel free to e-mail me at Lebenszeit@windstream.net

I just want to say Thank you..... Jade is a great little girl. She has captured my heart and is such a clown. I love her to pieces. She fits right in around here. I love to take her to the pet store and show her off. So many compliments and all the little kiddies love to pet her. She is so gentle with them. Thanks again. Hope you can make it over someday soon.

I can't begin to tell you how much we are enjoying our puppy Dasha.
She is absolutely wonderful...very well behaved and very loving.   Dasha came
from Kris & Greg's last litter...Asso is also her Dad.  She is now 4 months
old and 51 lbs!

Our family lives on a cul de sac of 14 houses and 24 kids (10 and younger) in a
large residential neighborhood outside Tampa, FL.  The most important
characteristic we were looking for in a puppy was socialization...being raised
in a family environment.  We spent over 8 months looking for the right puppy.
When we arrived at Kris & Greg's house it was very evident that they had a great love for each and every dog they raised...when we came back to pick up Dasha, Kris (OK me too) shed a few tears.

Dasha is truly the most wonderful pet we have ever had...and by far the most
intelligent.  We got her at 8 weeks and she was already crated trained (although
she had never been put in a crate).  She has never had an accident in her
crate...and by 10 weeks was completely house trained...meaning she went to the
sliding glass door and if that didn't get our attention....she pawed the
glass.  She pretty much has the run of the house now.  Dasha is the total
package...one minute she is rough housing with a bunch of 10 year old boys in
the backyard and the next she's patiently and gently eating her dinner out of
my little girl's hand.

She's a real head turner...when I take her for a walk I often have people crossing the street to greet her.
Beikirch Family & Dasha

After searching long and hard for the right puppy for our family, we decided
to purchase from Ehrenwald German Shepherds. I can't even begin to explain
how happy we are with our puppy. Arminius is extremely healthy and full of
love, and has temperament, energy and drive that would rival any puppy
anywhere! The right combination of customer service, price and unrivaled
pedigree makes Ehrenwald German Shepherds the only place I would ever go for
a champion bloodline purebred German Shepherd. Thank you Greg and Kris for
all of your hospitable assistance throughout our purchasing experience. You
guys are the best! And also, thank you Frony and Waldo for producing such a
top notch litter! Oh yeah, and thank you to Cameron and Josh for raising and
playing with our little boy during his earlier days!

Sincerely,

D. Angelakopoulos (proud parents of a handsome and healthy baby
German Shepherd!) & Arminius v. Ehrenwald (future Schutzhund 3 bad boy!)

I want you to know how much we appreciate the role you played in the
purchasing of our new German Shepherd puppy.
When we decided it was time to start looking for a puppy, we thought the
search would take us a few months, many miles of driving and breeders that
really didn't have much concern for the breeding of their animals or care
where they were placed. We were so very wrong. We happened to meet two
incredible people that not only love dogs as much as we do, but that care
about the breed more than the profit. You spent so much time with us and
never once made us feel like we were customers. We were always treated as
friends. Because of you both, we brought home a very beautiful, loving and
healthy puppy

Allegro is the TOTAL PACKAGE ! Looks, health, temperament, and drive. No
matter where we are we get compliments on how beautiful and majestic he is
as well as sweet.
We have been taking him to the beach every weekend and he is starting to
outswim us and he is getting better and better with the frisbee his drive is
amazing I am thinking of training him for agility.

Training him has been a breeze he is such a fast learner and was housebroken
and crate trained in only 3 weeks after we brought him home.
He is so friendly and greets everyone- many people are often intimidated at
first because at 7 months he is already 80lbs, but immidiately recognize how
freindly he is. He is known at the dog parks as 'the welcoming commitee'.
He has also turned out to be a wonderful watch dog, when Daniel is away.
Allegro guards the door and always makes sure I am in sight and safe.
Thank you for the dog of our dreams !!!!

Ellie Mae is absolutely wonderful. She has already learned how to

go out our pet door. She has really settled in and has totally adapted

to our home and her new brother Cosmo (10mo.).He sometimes

plays a little rough but, she is starting to show him her displeasure.

I am attaching photos of both of them. Thank you again for the

very professional and quality approach that you both exemplify

in regards to your kennel. We were very impressed.
